• It appeared I was the only one walking today. Pleasant green countryside, and then the snow capped Pyrenees.
• The snow appeared to float above the foreground. They were about 100 kms away.

• The village in the foreground is Barran. Important 1,000 years ago for a few hundred years.
• Picturesque from afar, but in reality as close to death as a village can be.
• 
• Nobody moved, the market rarely used I suspect, most houses vacant, except for one house where a woman was painting the exterior - its probably what she will be doing forever as there aren't any other activities about.
