- Not much happened today- just rain on and off, with mostly on-road walking although there was sections of good damp forest tracks.

The photos you have added are lovely vistas indeed. Interested that the picturesque village was in fact far from active. Maybe the painting woman has bought cheaply in order to stave off penury of the sort she might experience if she remained in Paris.
